English Garden

CanDesigns - English Garden

Beautiful, softly hued papers in pinks, lavenders, golds and green are what you'll find in this glorious kit with it's theme of an English garden in springtime. In it you'll find truly unique flowers with a touch of whimsy added for fun, and many other "old world" elements to decorate your pages.

This is a picture my mother took on their visit to the Fort Worth Texas Botanical Gardens in the Spring of 1941.

First Fish

Charlie and his Dad went to a fish pond nearby Sunday afternoon and Charlie caught his very first fish on his first fishing adventure. He was so excited as he was showing it to his Gran'Daddy.

Jack-o-lantern

Charlie had to have a jack-o-lantern right at the beginning of October. So they got this little one and were going to just draw a face on it. But Charlie wouldn't have it ... it HAD to be carved. He was so pleased with it that he wanted Nana to take his picture and he even posed for me.

Oh No Charlie

Had to scrap this picture of Charlie from October 2003."Oh No Charlie" by CanDesigns (she has a Charlie grandson, too.)

1924 - Somervell County Texas - My Dad is the boy with the hat sitting on the horse. My grandfather is standing in the middle and my grandmother is sitting on the left. The others are family and friends and with the help of the names my mother wrote on the back of the picture I have been able to identify all the others, too.

Smile

The smile on your face brings a smile to my heart.

I used another great kit of CanDesigns ... Rough and Tumble. It has some of the greatest textured papers and fantastic elements. It is wonderfully masculine and pretty all at the same time.

Climbing

Here is an absolutely adorable little boy kit, James at School by CanDesigns. The colors are wonderful for the guys and the textures in the papers are wonderful!
