rollick

Charlie and Jack having a huge time playing with the ball. It was deflating but it didn't seem to matter to them. We had to get a new ball shortly after these pictures were taken.

This was for another NSD challenge being hosted at Digital Candy today. This one was a template challenge by ChrissyW.

Song For You

Charlie in 2004. He was two years old. He was standing on an empty box singing his heart out to his Mommy.

I did this one for another Beckie Wallace challenge at Digital Candy in honor of NSD. She called it a Lyrical Challenge. I made the photo black and white and blended it into the background paper from Sweet Digi Scraps by Liz Hutchins. The font is Bradley Hand ITC.

Batman Cake

Charlie picked out his Gran'Daddy's birthday cake last year. There were four batman rings on the cake, two for Charlie and two for Gran'Daddy.
I did this layout as part of the challenges at Digital Candy. This one was the I Dare You challenge with Beckie Wallace. You will want to be sure to visit her blog. She has great designs and lots of freebies, too. Her challenges are always fun! You might like to try it.

Time

A past and present / old and new theme to my layout showing my shelties (one gone, one brand new). I used artistic effects (chromed) on their faces. I used Beckie Wallace's fabulous kit Kismet available at Stone Accents Studio.

Charlie straight from the barber shop. Four generations have gone to this same barber shop over the past 30 years.

Here Goes!

Everyone else seems to be doing a blog and I just cannot stand to get left behind. So, I'm giving it a whirl, too. This will be a place for me to share my new craze of digiscrapping. You are going to see a whole lot of my grandson, Charlie. There will be room for me to show off my sheltie puppy, Jack. And don't be surprised if I through in some family history into the mix. This should be fun for me and hopefully for anyone else who comes around.
