Memory

I found this picture yesterday and remembered that Momma would help me on and off my bicycle when I first got it. To pedal I had to stand up and pump, when I got going fast enough I could sit on the seat and coast, but could not reach the lowest stroke of the pedals from the seat. If Momma didn't come out when I called I'd call to a big boy that lived a few doors down and he would come out and catch me so I didn't have to fall down to get off.

My Boy

I'm forever snapping pictures of Jack and many times it is a surprise what I come up with. I doubt I'll ever grow up to be a photographer.

I did this 2 pager for the Sweet Sketch Challenge #1 at Digital Candy hosted by Trish H. using ScrapShana's kit Geometric Funk.

Colorado

Did this one for the Bubblegum Challenge at Digital Candy. Never thought about using an ad for motivation, but it seems a lot of others do. See how much I have to learn? Slowly but surly. LOL

What Scrapbooking Item Are You?

Take the test. It is fun. Here's my results.

You are PAPER!
You are an all natural basic person who likes to act as a foundation to others. You are willing to take a backseat in most of your relationships and let others take the spotlight, while you show your support and help them shine! Underneath it all, you are the one who makes it all happen. You are the focus and stability in any group, even if you are not the leader. Others look to you to set the pace and provide ideas for ways to get things done. But Paper Beware - sometimes you get a little edgy with the people who look to you for support and can give them some papercut remarks that can hurt their feelings. Remember to watch what you say, because you are best when leading by example.

Stopper and Jones

My Dad's younger brothers in 1942. Two very special men in my life as I was growing up. Stopper was in the Navy and his name was really Lee Roy but everyone called him by his nickname. Jones' given name was Lewis Jones, the maiden names of his two grandmothers.
