Basketball

If you have never seen 6 year olds play an organized game of basketball, you don't know what you are missing. This was Charlie's second game. I missed the first one. They are so fun to watch. They are quickly learning that it is "good" to pass the ball to someone else on their team and not hog the ball even if they are not open to make a shot. The funny part is that they haven't completely figured out that they should not block their own teammate. At this level, the refs don't hardly call anything. As long as they don't just tuck the ball under their arm and run with it and are trying to dribble/or just bounce the ball a little there is no traveling called. The game is fast and they do not stop the clock for anything. I'm smiling just thinking about it. Sad to say, the lighting in the buidling was not good enough to get good pictures with my camera. So, I have a couple of bad pictures to share. LOL

Charlie's team won a big 14 - 4.

I was tickled with myself when I found a new way to make something for my layouts. The large ball on the background was created from a square piece of paper in Tami's Nana's Boy. It is available at Digiscrapaganza. I use PSP2X. I selected the whole paper, then applied "Effects / Geormetric effects / Circle". I laugh at myself when I discover something like this and wonder why I never did that before.

Here is the preview of this wonderful kit that Tami made. I can't believe I had not put this on my blog, yet. Shame on me! Tami made this kit for me and Charlie and surprised me with the name which I happen to just LOVE! Nana's Boy! It is the perfect kit for scrapping a young active boy and I love ya' Tami for doing this kit!

As I said before, this is available at Digiscrapaganza.

LOL LOL No, I have never watched a "little ones" basketball game... it really does sound like fun! Those photos aren't too bad either, a little adjustment here and there and voila! they will be ready for you to apply your most awesome talent to!! Have a great Sunday Shari.... {{HUGS}} hmmm, I wonder if we should start a thing in the garden for members to upload a photo, and have everyone scrap it? LOL LOL it would be fun!

I'm sure it was a sheer delight to watch your Charlie play. It sounds like it was. And so much more fun than watching them play baseball.

Adorable kit amd terrific page. Isn't it just loads of fun to find out your program will do something cool like that.

Hope you have a good week.
